WATERLOO — Sherri Ann Ceaser-Longstreet, 48, of Waterloo, died Saturday, March 20, at Covenant Medical Center, of natural causes.

She was born April 6, 1961, in Iowa City, daughter of Willie Robertson and Audrey Louise Hardy. She married Frank Longstreet in May 1992. He preceded her in death.

She was employed by construction industries throughout Iowa and attended Payne Memorial AME Church.

Survived by: a son, DeShawnus Ceaser of Waterloo; her mother of Waterloo; her stepfather, Harris Ceaser Sr., of Waterloo; three brothers, Warren Hardy of Charlotte, N.C., and Rodney L. Ceaser and Bryan Turner, both of Waterloo; three sisters, MarCia (Quincy) Whitfield of Troutdale, Ore., and Sherry Johnson and Carol (Peaches) Dedrick, both of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Kayla Zubler of Dubuque and Jaylin Ceaser of Waterloo; two stepbrothers, Roderick Ceaser of Houston and Harris Ceaser Jr. of San Antonio; and two stepsisters, Teresa (Joe) Jordan and Tracie Ceaser, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: her father; maternal grandparents, James E. and Lovell Cook; and paternal grandmother, Mae Wagner.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Payne Memorial AME Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Greer Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the family at 424 Peek St., where they will receive friends.
