WATERLOO — Dorothy Wagner, 86, of Waterloo, died Sunday, March 21, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 12, 1923, in Riceville, daughter of Eugene and Irene Hawkins Buttolph. She married Stanton N. Wagner in June 1944 in Waterloo.

Survived by: her husband; six sons, Stan (Mary) of Greenwood Village, Colo., David (Madonna) of Carmel, Ind., Jim (Helen), Craig (Diana) and Brian, all of Waterloo, and Bruce (Lisa) of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Diane Wagner of Waterloo and Brenda (Mark) Brown of Grundy Center; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth (Darlene) Buttolph of Anchorage, Alaska; and three sisters, Delores Hennigar of Manly, Betty Koch of Grundy Center and Kate (Ray) Knapp of Silver Springs, Fla.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, Dale and Lloyd Buttolph.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to American Heart Association or Cedar Valley Hospice.
