WATERLOO -- Duane Fraser, 70, of Chowchilla, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at Madera Hospital, Madera, Calif., after a lengthy illness.

He was born Oct. 30, 1928, in Bradford, son of Ronald and Clara Neubauer Fraser. He worked as a foreman in the cotton mills for years.

Survived by: his wife, Marie; a son, Ron of Livermore, Calif.; a daughter, Diane Baron of Fresno, Calif.; two grandchildren; his mother of Waterloo; and two brothers, Darrell of Imboden, Ark., and Donald of Buckeye.

Preceded in death by: an infant brother, Dwight.

Services: 2 p.m. today at Warden Funeral Home, Chowchilla.
