CEDAR FALLS -- Mae Louise Sagert, 67, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 27, 1932, in Mason City, daughter of Arnold and Pearl Pope Petersen. She married Robert W. Sagert on Dec. 25, 1948, in Mason City.

Mrs. Sagert worked as a nurse at the former Presbyterian Hospital, Waterloo.

Survived by: her husband; three sons, Jeffrey of Council Bluffs and John and James, both of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Linda Teisinger of Waterloo; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild; a sister, Marliss Oliver of Ankeny; a half brother, Ronald Wyborny of Grants Pass, Ore.; and her stepfather, Ken Wyborny of Texas.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation also from 9 a.m. until services Friday.
