CEDAR FALLS -- Frank Standish, 71, of San Jose, Calif., formerly of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, at home of natural causes.

He was born June 6, 1929, in Indiana, son of Frank and Mildred Rollins Standish.

Mr. Standish worked at Viking Pump Co. from 1960 to 1976. During that time he served as a sales engineer, sales manager, vice president of marketing, executive vice president and the last four years as president. For the past 13 years he owned and operated C&N Pump and Well Co., Santa Clara, Calif.

Survived by: a son, Peter; and three daughters, Diana, Allison and Alexandra.

Services: No services are planned. Darling Fischer Mortuary, Los Gatos, Calif., is in charge of cremation.
