CEDAR FALLS - Lilly M. Piper, 102, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Feb. 28, at Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center.

She was born June 14, 1907, in Waterloo, daughter of William John and Isabel Weekley Ackerman. She married Faye Piper on June 14, 1924, in Waterloo. He died March 24, 1991.

Mrs. Piper was employed as a cook in the dietary department at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

Survived by: a son, Robert (Zella) of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Piper of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by: a daughter, Louise Piper; a son, Gerald; five grandchildren; three great-grandsons; and three sisters, Etta Rearden, Helen Thode and Clara Ackerman.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Western Home Communities Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Richardson Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
