EVANSDALE — Donald Wesley Musch, 79, of Evansdale, died Monday, Feb. 22, at ManorCare Health Services, Waterloo, of cancer.

He was born June 5, 1930, in Cedar Falls, son of Herman and Mildred Davis Musch. In 1953 he married Ardith Lawrence. She preceded him in death. He later married Iva Howard on Sept. 11, 1971. She died July 20, 2009.

Mr. Musch graduated from Dunkerton High School, Dunkerton, and was employed by Rath Packing Co., Waterloo, for many years until it closed. He then worked part time for the Waterloo Courier and the Lanter Courier until his retirement. He was a member of Grace Brethren Church.

Survived by: three sons, Mike (Margie) of Washburn, Dan (Susie) of Evansdale and Wayne (Leanne) of Waterloo; a stepdaughter, Karen (Martin) Foster of Waterloo; five grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild; a stepgreat-grandchild; two brothers, Bernie and Jim; and two sisters, Viola and Mariann.

Preceded in death by: a stepdaughter, Marilyn Abben; and two brothers, Dick and Clifford.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Grace Brethren Church, with burial in Garden of Memories, both in Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo.
