WATERLOO - Edna M. Franke, 94, of Waterloo, died Monday, Feb 22, at ManorCare Health Services of natural causes.

She was born June 6, 1915, in Milo, daughter of Paul and Eula Edna Melick Graham. She married Edwin F. Franke on July 10, 1934, in Marshalltown. He died June 16, 1985.

Mrs. Franke was a member of Linden United Methodist Church.

Survived by: three sons, Donald E. (LaVonne) of Evansdale, Russell “Butch” (Kathy) of Waterloo and Richard “Dick” of Collierville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a son, Charles D.; two brothers, LeRoy and Loren; and a sister, Nora Jane Barger.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Linden United Methodist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher on Kimball, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
