WATERLOO - Genevieve Marie "Genny" Andrews, 76, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Feb. 18, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born June 15, 1933, in Quasqueton, daughter of William Frank and Mary Imadell Reynolds Walton. She married Webster Andrews Sr. on May 13, 1956, in Preston, Minn., and they later divorced.

Ms. Andrews was employed as a nurse's aide and laundry worker at Country View Care Center for 17 years, retiring in 1995.

Survived by: two sons, Glen F. Truesdell of Atkins and Webster (Marcella) Andrews Jr. of Waterloo; two daughters, Rita Walton of Vacaville, Calif., and Leah M. (Lyle) Reed of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Carl Walton of Dallas; a special daughter-in-law, Sheryl Crawford of Owatonna, Minn.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: her parents; two sons, James and Edward Truesdell; a daughter, Patricia Truesdell; a brother, Kenny Walton; a sister, Lucille Latham; and a granddaughter, Rebecca Knapp.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials: may be directed to the family.

Genny loved taking pictures and talking to people. Her passion was her family.
