WATERLOO - Joyce Anne Pletka, 68, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Feb. 19, at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center, Cedar Falls, of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 25, 1941, in Waterloo, daughter of Joseph Robert and Mabel Cecelia Murray Lavenz. She married Robert Joseph Pletka in Indiana and they later divorced.

Survived by: two daughters, Sherri (Jim) Hewitt of Fairfield and Jackie (Walt) Hovey of Evansdale; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Russell Lavenz.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. today and an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
