WATERLOO -Thomas H. Fouts, 75, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Jan. 30, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 23, 1934, in Waterloo, son of Thomas M. and Grace A. Minton Fouts. He married Doris Teare on Aug. 9, 1958, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.

Mr. Fouts served as a medic in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves in 1986. He worked at John Deere as an inspector, retiring after 32-plus years of service.

Survived by: his wife; a son, Thomas A. of Webster, N.Y.; a daughter, Leanna (William) Olmstead of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Jeffrey and David Olmstead, and Hannah Fouts; two great-grandchildren, Rebekah and Sara Olmstead; and a brother, Donald (Carol) Fouts of Galena, Ill.

Preceded in deth by: a sister, Carol D. Torrey.

There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be at a later date. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, assisted the family.

Thomas enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
