CEDAR FALLS — Lillian J. Riker, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Jan. 22, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

She was born March 2, 1924, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Thomas J. and Viva J. Garrison Hardwick. She married Arnold J. Riker on Feb. 20, 1946, in Cedar Falls. He died Oct. 27, 2003.

Mrs. Riker was a homemaker and worked as custodian at Faith Wesleyan Church and later Trinity Wesleyan Church. She and her husband also managed Cedar Springs Wesleyan Camp, Floyd, from 1976 to 1988.

Survived by: two sons, Lowell (Linda) of Red Wing, Minn., and Michael (Betty) of Lakeland, Fla.; two daughters, Jeannine (Marvin) South and Veneice (Greg) Cotrone, both of Cedar Falls; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Elizabeth Hardwick of Ackley and Judy Hardwick of Traer.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Richard T. Hardwick; and two sisters, Sylvia Lord and Josephine Kern.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Bible Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
