Paul Leo Klein, 67, of 279 Hammond Ave., owner of Klein's Cabinet shop, was dead on arrival at St. Francis hospital at 11 a.m. yesterday, shortly after he was stricken with a heart attack in the 100 block of E. Park Ave.

He was born on Feb. 22, 1894 in Waterloo, the son of Peter and Margaret Gindt Klein. He attended St. Mary's school and on June 27, 1917 married Marie Quinn in Waterloo.

Mr. Klein was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church and the church Holy Name Society. He had been in business as a cabinet maker for the past 20 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sam Treichel, of 325 Third St., Washburn; Mrs. Morris Murphy, of 1252 W. Mullan Ave.; one son, William J. Klein, of 1187 Ridgemont Rd.; three sisters, Mrs. Clyde Guynn of 2806 Roland Ave; Mrs. Josephine Anderson, of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Clarence Anderson of Gary, Ind.; one brother, William A. Klein, of 520 Magnolia Pky. and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents. Services are pending at the O'Keefe and Towne funeral home.
