WATERLOO - Wilbert "Bill" Petersen, 58, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Jan. 16, after a motor vehicle accident in Waterloo.

He was born Dec. 21, 1951, in Waterloo, son of Howard and Lorraine Aderman Petersen. He married Renee Dillavou on Oct. 8, 1977, in Waterloo.

Mr. Petersen worked at Clipper Wind Power, Cedar Rapids.

Survived by: two sons, Nathan and Elliott, both of Waterloo; and three sisters, Carolyn (DeLyle) Russell and Elaine (Dean) Weber, both of Dunkerton, and Kathleen Warren of Las Vegas.

Preceded in death by: his parents; a brother, Ronald; and a sister, Linda Austin.

Memorial Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Countryside Heartland Vineyard Church, Evansdale. Public visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and for an hour before services Friday at the church. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
