CEDAR FALLS - Nadine R. Colson, 80, of Farley, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Dec. 28, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, from complications of heart surgery.

She was born Feb. 4, 1928, in Concordia, Mo., daughter of Lambert and Delia Westerhouse Borgstadt. She married Benjamin F. Colson on Dec. 21, 1947, in Sedalia, Mo.

Mrs. Colson graduated from Concordia High School in 1947 and was a homemaker in her own home.

Survived by: her husband; four daughters, Nancy (Rich) Evans of Reed Springs, Mo., Judy (Dave) Starling of Ames, Janet (Darrell) Starling of Independence, Iowa, and Jennifer (Rick) Sherman of Rockford, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gracie (Elmer) Boehmer of Alma, Mo., and Dolly Dankenbring of Concordia; and two sisters-in-law, D.J. Borgstadt of Independence, Mo., and Rachael Borgstadt of Kansas City, Mo.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, Virgil and Harold Borgstadt.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation from 11 a.m. until services Monday at the funeral home.
