Janice Aleen Clay, 80, of Orange City, Fla., passed away Dec. 28, 2009, at Majestic Oaks, Orange City. She was born in Quincy, Ill., on Sept. 11, 1929, and moved to Orange City in 1997 from Waterloo. Janice was a homemaker and belonged to the Church of the Nazarene, Waterloo. She loved scrapbooking, cooking, crafts and playing cards. Janice loved her family and friends and had a good sense of humor.

Survivors include sons, Billy, Robert and Russell Clay, all of Waterloo, and James Clay of Orange City; brothers, Robert McKenzie of Quincy and Jack McKenzie of Muscatine; sisters, Alice Snyder of Shawnee, Kan., Lee Einhouse of Springfield, Ill., June Simmons and Vickie Stice, both of Quincy; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.She was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, James Loyd Clay, and her daughter, Laurie Clay.

We loved her so much. We will miss her dearly.
