RAYMOND - Emma Jean McGee, 82, of Raymond, died Thursday, Oct. 29, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

She was born March 12, 1927, in Cresco, daughter of John and Vera Burgess Walton. She married Willis J. McGee on Sept. 4, 1948, in Cresco.

Mrs. McGee was employed at Rath Packing Co. for 27 years. She and her husband farmed near Raymond until retirement.

Survived by: her husband; a son, Francis "Fritz" (June) of Cherokee, Okla.; two daughters, Diane (Lloyd) Roberts of Chicago and Jean (Vern) Baumhover of Overland Park, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Preceded in death by: a daughter, Joan; and two brothers, Robert and Francis Walton.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Raymond, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Cresco. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, Waterloo, where there will be a 4:30 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also an hour before services on Saturday at the church.
