WATERLOO - Timothy D. Trenkamp, 38, of Waterloo, formerly of Dyersville, died at home Saturday, Oct. 17.

He was born July 25, 1971, in Dubuque, son of Will and Connie Hopkins Trenkamp.

Mr. Trenkamp attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School and graduated from Western Dubuque High School in 1989. He then earned his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls. He has been in restaurant management for 16 years, most recently at Tony's Trattoria, Waterloo.

Survived by: a brother, Ted of Madison, Wis.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by: his parents, Will in 1983 and Connie in 2002; and his grandparents.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with burial in the church cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, with a 4 p.m. parish Scripture service.

Memorials: may be directed to the American Heart Association or St. Francis Xavier Basilica.
