CEDAR FALLS - Dorothy M. Meyer, 78, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Oct. 9, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Washington Springs, S.D., daughter of William and Alvina Begalski Faust. She married Kenneth L. Meyer on June 25, 1955, in Hawkeye.

Mrs. Meyer graduated from North High School, West Union, in 1949 and was employed for 23 years with Allen Hospital as a nurse's aide, then later a secretary.

Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Diane (Richard) Bruno of Waterloo; and two brothers, Everett (Mary Jean) Faust of Mesa, Ariz., and Bob (Dorothy) Faust of Sun City, Ariz.

Preceded in death by: an infant daughter, Susan Marie; and two brothers, Bill and Bud Faust.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity American Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
