Betty L. Rausch, 84, of Hudson, died at Allen Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, November 14, 2007.

She was born August 15, 1923, in Hudson, the daughter of Floyd and Bertha Thoms Gibson. Betty graduated from Hudson High School in 1941.

Betty married Kenneth L. Rausch on August 29, 1943, in Hudson. He died December 14, 1998.

She had many and varied interests, some of which included antiques, babies, Christmas, doing crafts, dolls, flowers, genealogy, and spending time with family, friends and relatives.

Betty is survived by son K.C. and his wife Patricia of Mount Auburn, daughter Karen Brandhorst and her husband Gary of Hudson, and daughter Robin Rausch and her special friend Patty Novelle of Sayreville, New Jersey.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren: Lisa Widner and her husband Eric and their children: Emma, Megan and Madison; Michelle Rausch; Kelly Green and her husband Michael and their children: Kierstan and Gavin; Jo Rausch; Kyle Rausch; Jenny Brandhorst; and Luke Brandhorst.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers: C. Laverne, Kenneth, and infant brother Donald Gibson.
