Frank Burger Dead
Passed Away Suddenly Saturday Evening At Washburn of Paralysis of Brain
Lived Here Since 1881
Settled In Eagle, Later Moved to Fox, (??) Washburn -- Funeral Monday Morning.

Gilbertville, Feb. 11 -- Special: Frank Burger died suddenly Saturday evening about 9:00 o'clock at Washburn from paralysis of the brain.

He was born in Germany September 24, 1848. He was married in 1874 and came to this country in 1881. He settled in Eagle township. Afterwards he moved from there to Fox township where he bought a large farm in that township. About six years ago he moved to Washburn.

He leaves a family of wife and four children -- Henry Berger, William Berger, Mrs. Nick Kemp and John Berger of Waterloo, who works for the Creamery Package Co.

Funeral was held at 10:00 o'clock Monday at Gilbertville, Rev. Father Nemmers conducting the services. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery.
