Jack C. Frye (1928-2009)

Waterloo, Iowa - Jack C. Frye, 80, Waterloo, died Friday, December 11, at Allen Hospital.

He was born December 31, 1928, in Waterloo, son of Mark and Lucile McLaughlin Frye. Mr. Frye worked at Rath Packing Co, for 40 years, retiring in 1983. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by a daughter, Lynn Hall of Waterloo; a son, Jack (Penny) Caddall of Waucoma; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a half sister, Mauritta Weskamp of Rialto, Calif.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Leona Kowal.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 138 and VFW Post 1623. Public visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
