Cedar Falls, Jan. 18--I. G. Long, an employee of the state normal was instantly killed yesterday morning. While shoveling snow off the roof of a building he slipped and fell. He caught hold of a live wire and received 2,500 volts of electricity. He was 53 years old and leaves a wife and five children. Student Hilliard went to assist Long and was knocked senseless.
