Evans Lichty died at St. Francis hospital about 3:45 a. m. today after a short illness. He is survived by the widow, who was Miss Gertrude McDonnald, Minneapolis, Minn., before her marriage. Mrs. Lichty’s father is now ill in a hospital at Vancouver, Wash. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy R. Lichty, a sister, in Waterloo and a brother in France also survive.
Mr. Lichty was born in Iowa Falls but had resided in Waterloo most of his life.
He was a commercial salesman for Smith, Lichty & Hillman Co.
Arrangements have not been completed for the funeral, but the body will be taken to the home at Chautauqua park this afternoon. Announcement of services will be made later.
