Funeral services for James Oscar Cook, 56, who died Wednesday at his home, will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. in First Brethren church with Rev. E. M. Riddle, pastor, officiating. They will be preceded by a prayer service at the O’Keefe & Towne chapel at 1 p. m. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.

Mr. Cook, son of James and Catherine Cook, was born June 30, 1876, at Waynesboro, Pa. Later he came to Lanark, Ill., where he remained until he was 21 years old. He then moved to the farm five miles northeast of Waterloo in East Waterloo township, where he resided until he died. He married Miss Mary Lichty Dec. 23, 1903, in Waterloo.

Surviving besides the widow are two sons, Max Cook, Cedar Falls, and Frank, living at home; four brothers, Eugene Cook, Lanark, Ill.; Harry Cook, Wilsey, Kan.; William Cook, Fargo, N. D., and Cahrles Cook, Tampa, Fla., and one sister, Mrs. William Kennedy, Wilsey, Kan.
