After a lingering illness of nearly four years, Mrs. B. F. Puterbaugh died at 4:30 o’clock this morning at her residence, 1015 Washington street, where short funeral services will be conducted tomorrow evening at 7:45 o’clock by Rev. W. H. Beachler of First Brethren church, of which Mrs. Puterbaugh was a member.

Following the simple services here the body will be sent to Lanark, Ill., for burial and services will be held there Thursday morning.

Emma K. Lichty was born in Somerset county, Pa., Nov. 13, 1863. At the age of two years she came with her parents to Lee county, Ill., later moving to Lanark in Carroll county where she was married to B. F. Puterbaugh on Jan. 12, 1898.

Mr. and Mrs. Puterbaugh came to Waterloo in October, 1902, and have since made this city their home except for the period between 1908 and 1912 when they lived in Chicago. Besides her husband and son Milton, Mrs. Puterbaugh is survived by two brothers, Elias Lichty of Lanark, Ill., and Mrs. W. H. Lichty of Kansas City, Mo., and by a sister, Mrs. Cora Gordon.

The body of Mrs. B. F. Puterbaugh may be viewed at Peterson Bros.’ undertaking parlors until tomorrow evening.
