LICHTY, NAYLOR, BAER, GNAGY

Funeral services for Robert H. Lichty, 88, formerly of 905 W. 11th St., who died of complications of advanced age Thursday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home, Austin, Minn., will be 2 p. m. Monday at the Locke Funeral Home. The Rev. Kent E. Naylor, pastor of the South Waterloo Church of the Brethren, will officiate. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Those who wish may contribute memorials in his name to Austin’s St. Mark’s Lutheran home.

Mr. Lichty, son of Abraham and Mary Baer Lichty, was born Oct. 14, 1882, in Orange Township and married Lillian Blough in 1911 at Falls City, Nebraska. He farmed in Orange Township until his retirement and was a member of South Waterloo Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are two sons, Max B. Lichty of 905 W. 11th St., and Robert F., of Austin; a brother, Earl, of Harmony, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Blough of 60 Park Lane, and Mrs. Pearl Gnagy of 1411 Denver St., and five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother.
