Services for Warren W. Blough, 85, 6619 Kimball Ave., who died of a stroke at Schoitz Memorial Hospital Wednesday morning at 2:20 a.m., will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the South Waterloo Church of the Brethren. Rev. Kent E. Naylor will officiate with burial in the Orange Township cemetery. Memorials will go to the church memorial fund.
Mr. Blough was born in Waterloo June 14, 1883, the son of Uriah S. and Mary Miller Blough. He married Cora E. Lichty on Feb. 13, 1907, in Waterloo and farmed in Orange Township until his retirement in 1946.
He was a member of the South Waterloo Church of the Brethren where he was treasurer and trustee for a number of years. He has also been a board member of a number of farm organizations.
Surviving are his widow; one son, Edgar Blough, Rt. 4; three brothers, Elmer, Rt. 4, Rev. John H., LaVerne, Calif., and Robert O., Polo, Ill.; and three grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, one son, one daughter and three sisters.
The family asked that memorial contributions be to the church memorial fund. -- Waterloo Daily Courier, Waterloo, Iowa (10 Oct 1968).
