Hudson—Horace E. Cable, ? unexpectedly at 3:10 p. m. Monday at his home of a stroke; resded on a farm three miles east of Hudson before his retirement in 1959; survived by his wife; one son, Earl W., who farms near Cedar Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Leo F. Ward, Watertown, S. D.; Mrs. J. W. Reineking, Billings, Mont.; two brothers, Dewey Cable, Millersburg, Ia.; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Strayer, Waterloo; Mrs. Arnold Forney, also of Waterloo, and 10 grandchildren; funeral, Thursday at 2 p. m. at the Hudson Community church; burial in Hudson cemetery.
