Mrs. Telford Hamer, 60, of Rt. 1 died of a heart attack at Schoitz Memorial Hosptial at 6 a.m. Friday.

Friends may call at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday. Sevices are tentatively planned for Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Hamer, the former Frances M. Saylor, was born in Orange Township on July 26, 1908, to Daniel and hattie Miller Saylor and was married June 19, 1931, in Orange Township. She and her husband operated the West Side Maidrite from 1948 until 1961. Mrs. Hamer was a member of South Waterloo Church of the Brethren.

Preceded in death by her parents, a sister, three brothers and a son, she is survived by her husband; a son, Richard Hamer of 323 W. Orange Road; and two grandchildren.
