Funeral services for Mrs. Jeremiah J. Peck, age 66 years, a lifelong resident of Black Hawk county, who died at 11:55 p. m. yesterday at the family residencee 272 Hammond avenue, will be at First Brethren church at 2:30 p. m. Sunday. Rev. W. H. Beachler, pastor, will officiate. There will be prayer service at the home at 2 p. m. Burial will be in Orange township cemetery. The body is at Petersen Bros.’ undertaking parlors, where it may be viewed. Death followed a long illness from heart disease.

Elizabeth Lichty, daughter of John A. and Magdalena Lichty, was born in Pennsylvania in 1855. She came with her parents to Iowa at the age of five years, settling in Orange township. She was married to J. J. Peck in 1876. The couple resided on a farm in Eagle township until the spring of 1905, when they came to Waterloo. Mrs. Peck was an active worker in First Brethren church.
Surviving are the husband and the following children: Calvin L. and Frank J. Peck, Eagle township; Mrs. Glenn Lichty, Orange township. One son, Roy D., died three years ago. Five grandchildren survive and also the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. A. E. Brown, Jacob and A. J. Lichty, Waterloo; C. J. Lichty, Beatrice, Neb.; Filmore Lichty, Omaha, Neb.
