Funeral services for Galen (Lucky) Hershberger, 55, will be at 3:30 p. m. Tuesday at Parrott & Wood funeral home. Rev. J. Perry Prather officiating.
Mr. Hershberger died at 1:10 p. m. Sunday of a heart attack at Allen Memorial hospital.
He was born Jan. 15, 1895, in Grantsville, Md, the son of Jonas and Fannie Hershberger. In 1906 his family moved to Waterloo. He was employed by the Rath Packing Co. as a cost accountant.
Mr. Hershberger served overseas with the United States army in the first World war. He was a member of BPOE 290, the American Legion, and the Church of the Brethren.
Survivors are three brothers, Owen, 1210 Hammond avenue, Floyd, highway 218, and Paul, of Jesup; three sisters, Mrs. J. P. Gidbel [sic], Greenville, O., Mrs. J. B. Meshew, Brookville, O., and Mrs. R. R. Farhney, of Cedar Falls.
