INJURY KILLS HIM
David B. Ames died this morning at six o-clockAs the result of the injuries being received by being (hit) by a Rapid Transit Car yesterday morning ( ). David B. Ames died at ( ) this morning. The examination by Physicians yesterday afternoon ( ) internal injuries ( ). Mr. Ames grew weaker and weaker due to the loss of blood until ( ) and passed away.
Mr. Ames was born in Concord, New Hampshire in 1828.In 1868 he was married at Epworth, Iowa to Mrs. Marion Goodrich in 1869 the couple moved to Waterloo and Mr. Ames accepted a position with the Illinois Central railroad ( ). He has been with the company continually since then most of the time as watchman at the shops. He ( )of all of is fellow workers and neighbors and was regarded as a valuable man by the railroad office.
His wife and three daughters survive him. The daughters are Mrs. Martin Larsen of Kindred, North Dakota, Mrs. Elmer Trible of Raymond, Miss. Laura at home, The funeral will be at the home Monday afternoon ( )Rev.( ) the burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
