Elmer Eugene Trible
Funeral services for Elmer E, Trible, 72, Raymond, Ia farmer for more than 50 years who died Wednesday afternoon in St. Frances hospital, will be Saturday in the O’Keefe & Towne funeral home with Rev. Paul R. Brown, pastor of the Methodist church in Raymond in charge assisted by Rev. Herbert Dierenfield pastor of the First Presbyterian church here.
Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
Mr. Trible a former resident of Waterloo was born December 10,1881 in Cairo, Ia. Son of David and Mary Trible, and came here when five years old. He married Josephine Ames, Waterloo, on Mar.13, 1895 and the couple moved to Raymond where they had since lived.
Mr. Trible was a member of the Methodist church of Raymond and was one of the first members of Co. B in the of the old state militia.
Survived by his widow, two sons, three sisters, a brother and two grandchildren, Graydon Trible and Mary Elizabeth Trible, Route 6 Waterloo.
