Joyce Seydel, age 83, Tama, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Funeral services were Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Goettsch Funeral Home, Gladbrook.
Marion Joyce Seydel was born July 7, 1926, to Harry and Esther (Bruene) Seydel, rural Gladbrook.
In her later years Joyce had lived near Toledo Country Living (recently renamed Pheasant Ridge).
She was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by four sisters; Marjorie Frey, Gladbrook, Lois Lorenz, Traer. Phyllis (Gerald) Smith, Ames and Barbara Seydel, Rochester, Minn.; three nieces and one nephew; and one grand niece.
