BELLE PLAINE - Shirley Dawn Hartgrave, 68, of Belle Plaine, mother of Nancy Palmer of Newton, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, near Hartwick.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mc Aninch-Fremming Funeral Home in Victor.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery near Belle Plaine.

Also surviving are four sons, five other daughters, 23 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and three brothers.

Mrs. Hartgrave, a longtime resident of Vinton, was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clyde, and a brother. ~ Newton Daily News, Newton, Jasper, Iowa, November 27, 1990
