Henry P. Willer, 80, Akron died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 1973 at his home of an apparent heart attack.

The funeral was at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Schroeder funeral home, Akron, with Rev. Ralph Burdette officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Casket bearers were Virgil Willer, Curtis Willer, Charles Wilier, Don Neunaber, Eldon Huff and Glen Lawrensen.

He was born Feb. 11, 1893, at Keystone. He moved to Akron in 1902 and had farmed for 65 years in the Akron community. He was a World War 1 veteran and served as Westfield Township trustee for 22 years. He married Ruth Huff Sept. 1, 1921, at Akron. She died in 1944.

Survivors are two sons, Harold and Lloyd, both of Akron; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Hueser of Knoxville,Tenn.,and Mrs. Albert (Alma) Buys of Le Mars; three brothers, Edward, Theodore and Julius, all of Akron; three sisters, Mrs. Art Hasenbank, Mrs. Louise Martin and Mrs. Paul Papritz, all of Akron; and 11 grandchildren.
