Seeking information on the following family:

First Generation
---------------------------------------------
1. George W. Cannon. Born in July 1828 in Indiana. George W. died in Exira, Audubon Co., IA, after June 21, 1900; he was 71. Occupation: farmer in 1860 with $650 in real and $410 in personal property; farmer in 1870 with $1700 in real and $1560 in personal property.
Not mentioned in affidavits regarding bounty land or widow's pension. On June 26, 1860, he was single, living in Household 240 near Lewis P.O., Pymosa Township, Cass County, Iowa (Census 1860:25). Lived between his brother and father.
On June 30, 1870, they were living in Household 55, near Hawkins Grove, Audubon Township, Audubon County, Iowa (Census 1870). This is the county north of Cass County, in western Iowa.
On June 15, 1880, they were living in Household 23, Exira, Audubon Township, Audubon County, Iowa (Census 1880:5). On June 21, 1900 he was living in same place, Household 372, widowed, with three children living at home: Alice, Ellis, and Opal. He probably died before the 1910 census, as he does not appear there.
George W. married Harriet. Born circa 1846 in Kentucky. Harriet died in Exira, Audubon Co., IA, before June 21, 1900; she was 54.
They had the following children:

2. John W. Cannon. Born circa 1867 in Iowa. John W. died in likely Exira Township, Audubon Co., IA, after 1930; he was 63. Occupation: postmaster in 1920.
In 1900, the family lived in Household Exira Township, Audubon County, Iowa (Census 1900:12). Living with the family was his father-in-law, Thomas Simpson born June 1815 in Tennessee of parents from Virginia, a farmer. The 1910 census places them in the village of Oakfield. In 1920, his family lived in Household 34, Braxton, Exira Township, Audubon County, Iowa (Census 1920). Did they move, or was the town renamed?
In the 1920 census is Susie Heckman Cannon age 28, a widow, living with her brother Carl Heckman in Audubon Township. What relationship was her husband to this family?
Circa 1889 when John W. was 22, he married Hannah Simpson, daughter of Thomas Simpson, in Iowa. Born in December 1865 in Iowa. Hannah died after 1930; she was 64.

Living with parents in 1900.
6. Ellis Cannon. Born in July 1877 in Audubon Co., IA.
Living with his parents in 1900. In 1910, the family was living in Household 170, Exira Township, Audubon County, Iowa (Census 1910).
Circa 1899 when Ellis was 21, he married Ida Hackenberry, daughter of Samuel Hackenberry & Sarah, in Exira, Audubon Co., IA. Born in September 1878 in Illinois.
Living with parents, the census records her as married one year. Her husband is likely working somewhere.
They had the following children:

15 ii. Walter R. (ca1903-)
7. Opal Cannon. Born in August 1886 in Exira, Audubon Co., IA. Occupation: dressmaker in 1910.
Living with parents in 1900. Listed as head of household, living with family of Perry Lowers in village of Oakfield in Audubon County, Iowa in 1910. No success tracing in 1920 or 1930 census.
Third Generation

8. James S. Cannon. Born in August 1890 in Audubon Co., IA.
James S. Cannon living in Household 113, Benton Township, Cass County, Iowa in 1920. No children listed, but his mother-in-law lived there. In 1930, they had moved to Household 95, Prussia Township, Adair County, Iowa (Census 1930). No children.
Circa 1914 when James S. was 23, he married Minie Harter, daughter of Harter & Eliza. Born circa 1888 in Iowa.
9. Gerald T. Cannon. Born in May 1893 in Audubon Co., IA. Occupation: laborer in 1920.
Living with parents in 1920 and 1930.
10. Dollie B. Cannon. Born in June 1896 in Audubon Co., IA.
Not living with parents in 1920 or 1930.
11. Mary Lucile Cannon. Born in December 1897 in Audubon Co., IA.
The 1900 census gives her as Mary L. while the 1910 census gives Lucile M. as her name. Not living with parents in 1920 or 1930.
12. George W. Cannon. Born circa 1911. Occupation: assistant postmaster in 1920.
Living with parents in 1920, but not in 1930.
13. Hilda Cannon. Born circa 1905.
Living with parents in 1920 and 1930.
14. Harold S. Cannon. Born in September 1899 in Iowa.
Only one person named Harold Cannon born in 1899 showed up on search of 1930 census in USA. He lived in Denver, Colorado with his wife, Helen Davies Cannon and daughter Shallie, 4. This Harold was born in Missouri according to the census, so is not the same person if that is accurate.
15. Walter R. Cannon. Born circa 1903 in Exira, Audubon Co., IA.
No success tracing in 1920 or 1930 census.
