We are searching for information on Samuel Quinn McCord, born about 1851 in Johnson Co. IA. He was the son of Samuel McCord and Eleanor (no last name known) He was married to Hester Hill of Audubon Co. IA, in 1874 and they had 8 children; Charles, Grace, Clarence, Kenneth (who died in infancy), Mable, Floyd, Verna, and Harley. All the
children were born in Audubon Co. and he left when Harley was about age 2. He walked off on his family in about 1893 and we do not know where he last years of life, his death date and his burial location. We would love to find Samuel Quinn MCCORD'S death date and burial site so we can put flowers on his grave. We do have the rest of the family history and are missing this one very important part of our family history.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
