In Response To: Joseph John Hall (Rita Van Sickler)

I checked the Audubon newspaper and found only one line in the Audubon Republican on Thursday, October 2, 1902, page 4, column 4: "Grandpa Hall died at the home of his son William, in Melville township Thursday and was buried in the Viola cemetery Friday."

I assume this is Joseph John Hall. The death, according to the newspaper, would have occurred on Thursday, September 25, 1902. I didn't have time to check at the courthouse for a death record for Joseph Hall on this trip to Audubon. Viola Twp is directly north of Melville Twp.
