Born 24 October 1840, Gardiner, Maine
Died 29 February 1922, Montgomery County, Iowa

1842 - Born in Maine
1860 - Illinois (married to Elizabeth Strum in Illinois according to 1925 Iowa Census for son)
1860 - Daughter Kate born in Illinois
1869 - Son James born in Wisconsin
1870 - Enumerated in Neenah, Winnebago, Wisconsin Census
1880 - Enumerated in Walnut, Pottawattomie, Iowa Census

It does not appear that James Mennealy was in Iowa as early as 1850 and 1860
