OBITUARY MRS
ESTHER BAGLEY CRANE

Esther Bagley Crane was born
in Highland, Ohio, September 13th
1835 and died in the home of her
daughter in Fairbury, Nebraska
Feb. 6, 1916 in her eightieth
year.

She was married to James Ellis
Crane at Morristown, Ohio, on
September 1853. They moved to
Indiana in 1861, and by wagon to
Audubon County, Iowa, in the
year 1873.

Her husband died in Exira,
Iowa, August 10th 1886, and in
1902 she moved to Fairbury,
Nebraska, where she has since resided
and to the time of her
death.

This union was blessed with ten
children, six of whom are still living.
They are S. J. Crane, Atlantic;
Silas Crane Greenfield, Mrs.
Koppenhaven, Mechanicsville, Iowa;
Mrs. Ella Kopley, Weldon, Iowa;
and Mrs. Alfred Jones of Fairbury,
Nebraska. There are 24 grand-
children living and 16 great grand
children. Mrs. Crane was a consistant
christian lady and a member
of the Christian church for 22
years.

The funeral was held from the
Christian church in Exira, Tuesday
last, Rev. Hall in charge and the
remains buried by the side of
her husband in the Exira cemetery.

furnished flowers and added so
impressively with the beautiful
songs we one and all thank you.
