GREELEY

About two o'clock Saturday
morning September 17, Mrs. Sam-
mel Johnson, of north Greeley was
seized by a fatal illness. By sun-
rise death had fin(i)shed his dark
work, and the skill of man stood
baffled and awed while Death gloat-
ed over his victory. The autumn
sunset left her happy in life. The
rosy morning found her cold in
death. Funeral services were con-
ducted by the minister from North
Branch in the Greeley center
church at one o'clock on the follow-
ing Sabeath. The remains were
laid to rest in the Exira cemetery.

Like snowflakes falling on the sea
One by one we melt away,
No more the dusty earth to roam-
Wanderer called by Jesus, home.

Note: Parents of Lucy A. England were Luther England and Susan Wilson. She was married 1st to Isaac F. Boyer and married 2nd to Samuel Johnston.
