Infant of Former
Exira Couple Dead

Van Allen, 8-week-old son of Mr.
and Mrs. Van Kline of Sioux City
and formerly of Exira, was found
dead in his crib at 3:30 this morning.
Death resulted from heart trouble
from which he had been suffering
since birth.

Mr. and Mrs. Kline moved to the
Woodbury county seat two weeks
ago from Exira.

Surviving are the parents, a sis-
ter, Beverly Ann, 3, the paternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wood
Kline of Exira and the maternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl
Griffin of Exira.

Funeral services will be held at 2
o'clock this afternoon at the Wood
Kline home.

LOCAL HAPPENINGS

Mrs. Wood Kline and grandson,
Stuart Nelson, accompanied Van
Kline and family to the home of
Evart Kline near Sioux City last
Saturday. Mrs. Kline, Stuart and
Mark Kline, woh(ho) had been there a
few days returned home Sunday.
