Rites Held For
Former Exira Man

Funeral services were held Sun-
day afternoon at Grand Island, Ne-
braska, for Lester Bruner, former
Exira resident, who died at Grand
Island Friday.

Mr. Bruner was born and raised
here (Exira) and had been living in Grand
Island for many years. He had
been in failing health for some
time.

Jesse Bruner of Exira is a brother
of the deceased. Mrs. F. L. Porter
of Exira and Mrs. John Parrott of
Audubon, nieces of Mr. Bruner, at-
tended the funeral services.

Note: Parents of William Lester "Les" Bruner were Perry Albert Bruner and Mary Matilda "Tildy" Swearingen. He was married to Florence Heywood Fowler.
