Body Of Walter
Hoegh Found In
Garage At Home--------
Audubon Man Shot Self
In Left Temple; In-
quest To Be Held-------
Walter Hoegh, Audubon feed
and mineral agent, was found
dead in the garage at his home
this morning, shot through the
head with a .22 revolver, apparent-
ly a suicide.Discovery of the body, slumped
among a pile of feed sacks, was
made by a daughter. The body was
removed to the undertaking par-
lors of County Coroner Hans J.
Johnson, after examination by a
doctor.An inquest will be held today
at the Johnson parlors. H. J.
Petersen, Sewell Yost and Leo
Riggs will comprise the coroner's
jury.Mr. Hoegh is survived by a son
and three daughters.Dr. H. Borre, who examined
the body, stated, that in his opinion
death apparently occurred between
2 and 3 o'clock this morning.Mr. Hoegh, 52 years old, had
been in ill health since the death
of his wife about five years ago,
members of his family said. He
was born in the Brayton com-
munity, and spent all of his life
in Audubon and Cass counties,
with the exception of a short
time in Ringgold county. He was
formerly in the real estate busi-
ness at Atlantic. He and his chil-
dren moved to Audubon from
Marne more than a year ago, Mr.
Hoegh taking an agency for
Acme feeds in this territory.The surviving children are the
Misses Adele, Thelma and Irene
Hoegh, all at home, and Leon
Hoegh, who is employed on a
farm north of Atlantic. There are
also four brothers and two sis-
ters. The brothers are William
Hoegh, Chariton; A. N. Hoegh,
B. C. Hoegh and E. C. Hoegh, all
of Brayton. The sisters are Mrs.
Hans R. Hansen and Mrs. Walter

Funeral Walter Hoegh
Held Saturday Afternoon--------
Funeral services for Walter
Hoegh, well known feed salesman of
Audubon, were held Saturday after-
noon. Rev. M. C. Hagedorn of
Audubon conducted services at
the home in Audubon at 12:30 and
the Rev. K. R. Jensen had charge
of services at St. Paul's Lutheran
church in Atlantic at 2 o'clock.
Burial was in the Brighton town-
ship cemetery, Cass county, near
Marne.A verdict of suicide was return-
ed by a coroner's jury Thursday
evening. Ill health and a fear that
he would lose his eyesight were
thought to have caused him to
take his life.Note: His parent's were Nels P. Hoegh and Mary Katherine Knoss. His wife was Bertha Hansen.
