Raymond A. Sornson Victim
Of Brights Disease;
Rites Wednesday--------
Raymond A. Sornson, young
Exira farmer, died at St. An-
thony's hospital in Carroll Satur-
day evening, following a lingering
illness of Bright's disease. He was
33 years old.He was born west of Exira on
January 6, 1904. He had lived on
the farm where his parents reside,
having built a new home when he
married and he had operated the
farm since then.He is survived by his wife and
three children, two sons, Robert
and Charles, and a daughter,
Louise; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Adolph Sornson; two sisters, Mrs.
Floyd Gilbert and Mrs. Freeman
Gilbert of Belle Fourche, South
Dakota.Funeral services were held at
the West Exira Seventh Day Ad-
ventist church, of which he is a
member, Wednesday afternoon. A
short service was also held at the
home. Burial was in the Adventist

Obituaries
SORNSON. Raymond A. Sornson was
born Jan. 6, 1904, and passed away Jan.
16, 1937. He was united in marriage to
Maymie Peterson Oct. 15, 1925. To this
union three children were born, who, with
his parents, and two sisters survive. His
popularity was attested by a crowd that
not only filled the church but was packed
into the basement. Words of comfort and
hope were spoken by the writer.
