Mrs. Calvin Dimick
Of Near Brayton Died

Mrs. Calvin Dimick died Tues-
day at her home near Brayton fol-
lowing a long illness. She was 62
years of age.

Funeral services will be held at
the Brayton Baptist church on
Friday afternoon at 1:30 with the
Rev. Charles R. Hagee, pastor of
the Exira Christian church, in
charge. Burial will be in Oakfield
cemetery.

BRAYTON

Mrs. C. J. Dimick, living east of
town, is very ill with little hope
of recovery. Her sister, Mrs. Nellie
Budd and her grandaughter, Mrs.
Phil Anderson of Atlantic, are at
her bedside.

Long Illness At Home
Near Brayton

Eva Jane Dimick, a daughter of
David Beers and Lola Ann Lacey
died last Tuesday at the home
near Brayton which she was born
February 20, 1874. She had been
in failing health for several
nonths, but had been bedfast only
a short time.

She was united in marriage to
Calvin Dimick on November 15,
1893. Four children were born to
this union.

Those surviving are the four
children, Russell living at home,
Kathleen Donegan of San Pedro,
California; Mildred Thielen of
Exira and Miss Mozelle Dimick of
New York City; a sister, Mrs.
Nellie Budd of Atlantic; three half
brothers, L. C. Heath of Brayton,
Elmer Heath of Brayton and
Frank Heath of Soquel, California;
three step sisters and two step
brothers; five grandchildren, Mrs.
Genevieve Anderson of Atlantic,
Mary Colleen, Johnnie and Char-
lotte Thielen of Exira and Mary
Jane Donegan of San Pedro, Cali-
fornia.

Mrs. Dimick was a memember
of the Methodist Episcopal church
of Atlantic.

Funeral services were held at
the Brayton Baptist church on
Friday afternoon with the Rev.
Charles Hagee, pastor of the Ex-
ira Christian church in charge.
Burial was in the Oakfield cem-
etery.

homes.

BRAYTON

Miss Mozelle Dimick, who was
called here by the death of her
mother, returned to her home at
New York City Saturday. Mrs.
Kathleen Donegan and daughter
left Tuesday for their home at
San Pedro, California.
