Died Friday At
Home In Brayton

Death Followed Three-Year
Illness Of Heart Disease;
Funeral Held Sunday

Mrs. Jensena Dorothy Larsen
died at her home in Brayton Fri-
day afternoon at the age of 76
years. She was the widow of nis
C. Larsen, former Brayton butcher.
Death followed a three-year illness
with heart disease. She had been
bedfast a week.

Jensena Dorothy Pistelhoi was
born at Logstor, Jlland, Denmark,
on October 22, 1859, a daughter of
the late Mourss and Dorothea
Pistelhoi. In 1881 she came to the
United States from Denmark.

In 1901 she and Mr. Larsen were
married at Elk Horn. Several
years ago Mr. and Mrs. Larsen
moved to Brayton from Elk Horn,
where he had been postmaster.
Mr. Larsen died on September 29,
1929.

Mrs. Larsen was baptized in the
Danish Lutheran church when a
small girl.

Surviving are four stepchildren,
Mrs. Emma Koob and Nora Lar-
sen of Brayton, James Larsen of
Perry and Mrs. Esther Green of
Exira; twelve grandchildren. A son,
Ernest Emil, died in infancy.

Short funeral services were held
at the home at 1:15 p. m. Sunday.
The main services were held at the
Danish Lutheran church at Elk
Horn at 2:30 p. m., with the Rev.
Henrik Palmbeck, pastor of the
Oak Hill Danish Lutheran church,
officiating. Interment was in the
Elk Horn cemetery.
