Relative Local People
Died in Dakota Saturday

Mrs. Bessie Kirkeberg, sister
to Mrs. Frank Williams, Mrs.
John Rendleman and Mrs. Ida
Dyer of this place, died Saturday
at Yankton, S. D., following a
long illness.

The body was brought to Exira
Sunday and funeral services were
conducted Monday afternoon at
the Corl funeral home by the Rev.
O. C. Huff, pastor of the Feder-
ated church. Burial was made in
the Exira cemetery.

Mrs. Kirkeberg was born in
Exira on December 20, 1873, and
spent her young womanhood
here. She was married to Mr.
Kirkeberg (Lars E. Kirkeberg) in July, 1909, and
moved to Fairport, S. D., where
they made their home.

Surviving besides the three sis-
ters are her her husband, one
daughter, one grandchild and a
brother, Merrill B. Dodge of Kal-
lispell, Montana.

Note: Bessie's parents were Boynton Grover Dodge and Sophronia Jane Smith.
